HIIT, tabata, CrossFit – get your results fast!

I will share a great interval cardio workout today, with hight intensity and fast results.

You will have more time for other things

I like everything that is quick and intense in the gym. Call it HIIT, tabata or crossFit. The concept in basically the same; workout as hard as you can for about 20-30 minutes. This is great to built muscles and is also an effective fat burner! The best thing above all, you are done after just a short time so you can enjoy time with friends and family. Win win!

One of my favorite cardio sessions:

Duration: 20 min

On the treadmill

– 2 minutes, 50% of your capacity

– 1 minute, 90% of your capacity
– 2 minutes, 50% of your capacity
– 1 minute, 90% of your capacity
– 2 minutes, 50% of your capacity
– 1 minute, 90% of your capacity
– 1 minute, 50% of your capacity

On the spinning bike

– 2 minutes, 50% of your capacity
– 1 minute, 90% of your capacity
– 2 minutes, 50% of your capacity
– 1 minute, 90% of your capacity
– 2 minutes, 50% of your capacity
– 1 minute, 90% of your capacity
– 1 minute, 50% of your capacity

Treadmill: 50% of your capacity, I would say you are jogging slow or perhaps in the beginning walking fast. Then up to 90% of your capacity you are running as fast as you can basically. You are suppose to just be able to run for 45-60 sec – then you know you are there.
Spinning bike: 50% of your capacity would be a resting state, but still with some resistance. 90% is a little bit easier to measure on a bike then on the treadmill, just put the resistance on a level where you barely can hold yourself on 60-70 rpm. (revolutions per minute) You will find this “rpm” on you spinning bike’s display.
